AISS.800 Content Creation for Immersive Digital Services (6 ECTS) is an elective course in the Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Societies Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s programme.
In the course, students learn the basics of immersive media content production. The course covers the main methods related to audiovisual media on both a conceptual and practical level. The focus is on emerging and immersive media. A significant part of the course is a concrete media production project.
Upon completing the course the student:
- knows the fundamentals of audio-visual content;
- applies traditional content production techniques (video, photo, audio, 3D graphics);
- creates immersive content (360 and 180 video, spatial audio, XR);
- creates immersive content (360 and 180 video, spatial audio, XR);
- explores AI-generated content creation;
- operates media production hardware and software;
- manages studio and field production practicalities (e.g., lighting setups, green screen production).
